ABOUT US
Glyn’s Framing is a family business providing a bespoke picture framing service. The ethos behind everything we stand for is centred around accessibility for all and we proudly boast we can bespoke frame from as little as £35! We strive to produce high quality, creative and affordable picture frames with exceptional standards of customer service. We serve all of North Shropshire, South Cheshire and many neighbouring villages in Staffordshire. Our customers are mainly drawn from Market Drayton, Newport, Wem, Whitchurch, Telford and Shrewsbury.
We create frames at our professionally presented and fully equipped workshop and gallery in Market Drayton. All orders are processed via our computerised pricing software ensuring consistent and good value pricing with a range of frames to suit ALL budgets.
The business was established in 2014 by Glyn Jackson. Glyn was a former musician in the Corps of Army Music and started his passion for framing in 1995 with a mitre saw whilst off-duty! Moving on 30 years and through many training sessions with a fellow local framer Will James, Glyn took the self-employment leap and set up his homebased workshop having previously enjoyed 7 years as Centre Manager at the award winning Festival Dayton Centre.

Within 5 years, the homebased workshop was creaking at the seams and was rapidly becoming too small for the volume of work being undertaken. Glyn took another leap to find more suitable premises and 15b Stafford Street became the new home. The shop was kindly opened by Cllr Mayor Roger Smith in May 2019 and has seen the customerbase continue to grow.
With the purchase of a state-of-the-art Electronic Mountcutter in 2025, production times have seen our customers enjoy their handmade frames in a speedy fashion with the same unquestionable quality.
OUR GUARANTEE
Reputation is everything to our small family business. If for any reason you are unhappy with our framing service, please come back to see us and we will do everything possible to rectify any issues. It really is that simple!
